About

An honest HVAC business, owned and operated in Lehi.

Monarch Air is owned and operated by Will Kennedy, a Lehi-based HVAC serviceman with 8 years in business. Will is a Trane® Comfort Specialist™, fully certified to safely handle refrigerant and natural gas, and licensed and insured.

The story

Built in Utah, for Utah families.

Monarch Air is Will Kennedy's business — and it's named for the Utah Monarch Elk. Will is an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and the name was a deliberate choice: a bar he set for himself to build something as personable and unique as the experience he gives every customer.

Will lives in Lehi with his family, and the homes he services are the same kinds of homes his own family relies on through Utah's hot summers and cold winters. That's the lens he brings to every job — what would he want for his own house? Honest diagnostics, no upsell pressure, and work done the way it should be done the first time.

When you call Monarch Air, you get Will. Same-day repair, a $20/month maintenance plan, or a full system replacement — the recommendation comes from looking at your home, not from a script. 8 years in business, fully certified, licensed, and insured.

Our partnerships

Industry-leading technology, honest expertise.

Monarch Air is a Trane Comfort Specialist and Premier Dealer — meaning Trane itself holds Will to its standards for installation quality, ongoing training, and customer satisfaction. We pair that with a Samsung partnership for ductless mini-splits. Whether your home needs the whole-house power of a Trane system or the precise, room-by-room comfort of a Samsung mini-split, you get industry-leading equipment installed by someone held to the manufacturer's standard.

Trane Comfort Specialist badge

Trane Comfort Specialist

Trane's highest dealer designation

Trane awards the Comfort Specialist designation only to independent dealers who meet its standards for installation, service, customer satisfaction, and continuing education. Not every dealer qualifies — and Will does.

  • Factory-current training — Will keeps up with Trane's current equipment, controls, and diagnostics — not only the systems he trained on years ago.
  • Installed to deliver its rating — A correct load calculation and a correct install are what let a system actually reach the efficiency on its label.
  • Held to a satisfaction standard — Trane measures how a Comfort Specialist's customers rate the work, and keeping the designation depends on it.
  • Verifiable before you hire — Plenty of contractors display the logo without being enrolled. Trane's dealer locator shows who currently holds the designation.

Trane Premier Dealer

Dependable whole-house power

We install and service the full Trane lineup — central air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, and matched systems built for Utah's hot summers and cold winters. As a Premier Dealer we work with current Trane equipment, parts, and factory documentation, so your system is specified, installed, and supported the way it was designed to be.

Certifications

Independently certified for gas and refrigerant work.

Working safely on residential and commercial HVAC means staying current with the organizations that set the standard. Monarch Air is certified by both the Rocky Mountain Gas Association and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency — credentials you can verify directly with the certifying bodies.

Rocky Mountain Gas Association (RMGA) Certified

Natural-gas appliance work, done to code

The Rocky Mountain Gas Association is the regional authority on natural-gas appliance installation, service, and safety. RMGA certification confirms Will has been independently tested and trained to handle gas furnaces, water heaters, unit heaters, make-up air units, and commercial gas equipment safely and in compliance with code.

EPA Certified for Refrigerant Handling

Section 608 refrigerant compliance

Under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act, anyone who services equipment that uses refrigerants must be certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. EPA certification means refrigerant on every AC, heat pump, and mini-split job is recovered, recycled, and handled in a way that protects the atmosphere and keeps you within federal regulations.
