Furnace Service & Repair
Tune-ups, no-heat diagnostics, and repairs on gas and electric furnaces, unit heaters, tube heaters, and make-up air units. Honest about whether to repair or replace — never a default to upsell.
A furnace that won’t start on the coldest morning of the year is the worst kind of emergency — and the most common kind. We handle no-heat calls quickly, with a diagnosis-first approach: figure out what’s wrong, explain it, then quote the fix. No pressure tactics, no padding the bill.
Will Kennedy is fully certified for natural gas appliance work, with 8 years in business across gas furnaces, electric furnaces, unit heaters, tube heaters, and make-up air units. We service residential homes, commercial businesses, schools, and government buildings across Lehi, Utah County, Salt Lake County, and Summit County. Most residential furnace repairs come down to a few common failure points: ignitors, flame sensors, gas valves, blower motors, capacitors, or control boards. Commercial systems add complexity but the same diagnostic discipline applies.
Annual tune-ups catch most of these failures before they happen. A clean burner, a calibrated gas pressure, a tested flame sensor, and a verified blower belt mean fewer emergency calls in January. We include all of this in our $20/month maintenance plan as part of the Fall furnace tune-up, but standalone tune-ups are also available year-round.
After every repair, we walk you through what failed, why, and how to spot the early signs next time. You leave with heat that works on the coldest night of the year — and a clearer picture of what your furnace is doing so a small symptom doesn’t turn into a no-heat call at 11pm in January.

Common questions
My furnace is making a clicking noise but won’t fire — is this dangerous?
It usually means the ignitor is failing or the flame sensor is dirty — both routine repairs. Don’t keep cycling the system; call us so we can diagnose properly. Most gas-related issues aren’t immediate hazards but should be looked at promptly.
How often should a furnace be serviced?
Once a year, ideally in the fall before heavy use. Our $20/month maintenance plan includes a Fall furnace tune-up and a Spring A/C tune-up — two seasonal visits that catch almost everything before it fails on a cold night.
